  An hydraulic motor made by Hagglunds (Sweden) is directly connected to the roll shaft, eliminating the need for a speed reducer. This gives such advantages as high torque, variable speed and small space requirement. Rolls attached before and after the main roll can provide mixing and sheeting functions.
